Charo started working at Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE) in July 2020. Her responsibilities include managing OSE's databases and projects.
Before joining OSE, Charo worked at Oxford University Innovation (OUI), coordinating OUI's Start-up Incubator and supporting start-ups.
She spent a year in Tanzania as a business development advisor supporting micro agribusinesses in becoming more economically resilient.
Before her time at OUI, Charo spent over twenty years in academic publishing, leading teams across the UK, Europe, the USA, and Asia. She focused on driving business process improvements, automating workflows and implementing training programs for digital journals.
Charo holds an MA in Geography and History and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the Complutense University of Madrid. She is also a certified green belt in Lean Six Sigma.
